How much does CoolSculpting Cost in Texas?

Table of Contents

“What is the price of CoolSculpting?” This is the number one question we are asked at Figura Medspa. Unfortunately, this is not an easy question to answer. This is because the answer is always, “it depends.”

There are many factors that go into the cost of body sculpting. The most obvious factor is the number of treatment areas being treated. Additionally, the type of CoolSculpting machine used and the experience of the provider both play a role in the cost.

We want to make sure each client that comes to see us is fully educated on the treatment they are purchasing and that there are clear expectations. Below are the details of what goes into the price of a cryolipolysis treatment such as CoolSculpting.

Price Range of CoolSculpting

It is important to know that CoolSculpting is not a cheap procedure. It is an investment in your health and appearance. It is a procedure that can provide long-lasting results.

The price can vary drastically, ranging from $1400 to over $8000. On average, our clients will spend around $4000 to $5000 on CoolSculpting treatments.

Understanding a “Cycle”

Before we go into the details of the cost of CoolSculpting, we must define CoolSculpting terms such as a “cycle.”

A “cycle” refers to every CoolSculpting applicator or placement of the machine on your body. Multiple cycles are generally used in a single session. And many treatment plans require multiple sessions.

Think of a cycle this way, take a standard-sized envelope and place it on an area of your body. That would be an example of the size of the applicator. If we are to treat multiple areas on the body, that would require multiple CoolSculpting applicators (aka, a cycle).
Pricing for CoolSculpting applicators is based solely on the cost per cycle.

Pricing Factors

CoolSculpting is a highly customized treatment. No two bodies are the same and the price will vary depending on your body goals, the number of areas you want to treat, and your anatomy.

Simply stated, the larger the body area and fat that you want to be removed, the more cycles are required. The cost for the abdomen might require 4 to 8 cycles while the chin may require as little as two cycles.

Calculating Price

Calculating the price based on the number of cycles is a fairly simple calculation.

  • (A) total number of areas,
  • (c) required cycles per area,
  • (S) total number of sessions
  • ($) price per cycle
  • (A) x (c) x (S) = number of cycles
  • Number of Cycles x ($) = Total Cost

Let’s use an example. Say you want to treat your upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and inner thighs. That is 3 areas.

Each area is going to require 2 cycles.

Next, your body’s anatomy and goals require at least 2 sessions.

That is 3 x 2 x 2 = 12 total cycles.

Once you have the total number of required cycles calculated, you have to calculate the price per cycle. And this price will be different for each provider based on experience, location, and/or promotional discounts.

Promotions & Discounts

The retail price per cycle can range from $400 to $1000 depending on the provider, location, and any promotions/discounts. On average, people generally pay $600 per cycle. It’s the industry standard.

Depending on the promotion, you can see providers bring that cost down to $400 per cycle. The most common promotion for providers is offering higher discounts for a larger package. An example of this is offering a 50% discount for packages over 16 cycles. If a provider has a base price for a cycle at $800, then the price can be down to $400 per cycle. There might be other break points for discounts. They might offer 25% off for a package of 8 or more cycles for example.

Let’s use the example from above about a client wanting to treat the upper/lower abdomen and inner thighs. Our example calculated 12 cycles. Say the provider was offering a 25% discount for packages over 8 cycles and their base price per cycle is $800.

  • Base Price per cycle = $800
  • Discount = $800 x .25 = $200
  • Base Price – Discount = $600 price per cycle
  • $600 price per cycle x 12 cycles = $7200

Comparing CoolSculpting Price Between Providers.

CoolSculpting prices between providers are very comparable. Some providers might charge slightly more or less. On average, the price per cycle will generally be close to $600 between providers.

If you are shopping between providers, we suggest looking at other value factors besides price. CoolSculpting is an amazing technology, but in the hands of someone inexperienced, it can result in poor results and unwanted body shaping. Performing this treatment requires skill and experience. You want to pick a provider that you can trust. This is why we at Figura exclusively focus on body contouring treatments and each provider is the best at their craft. Each specialist is master certified in CoolSculpting and have more experience than most of the other providers that focus on other treatments like lasers and dermatology. This is why we are confident to offer a CoolSculpting Guarantee on our treatments.

Comparing CoolSculpting to Liposuction

When it comes to body contouring procedures, there are a few options to consider: CoolSculpting and liposuction. Both fat reduction treatments aim to eliminate stubborn fat deposits and help individuals achieve their desired body shape. However, there are crucial differences between the two procedures, including their prices.

CoolSculpting, a non-invasive treatment, utilizes a cooling technology called cryolipolysis to freeze and destroy fat cells. This process allows the body to gradually eliminate the dead cells, resulting in a smoother and more contoured appearance. Compared to liposuction, CoolSculpting is generally less expensive. The price of CoolSculpting varies depending on the treatment area and the number of sessions required. On average, the cost can range from $2,000 to $4,000.

Liposuction, on the other hand, is an invasive surgical procedure that involves the removal of fat through suction. It is a more immediate and dramatic method of fat reduction than CoolSculpting. However, liposuction tends to be more costly due to its surgical nature. The price can fluctuate depending on factors such as the size of the target area, the amount of fat that needs to be removed, and the technique used. Generally, liposuction is priced between $3,000 and $7,500.

When considering the price difference between CoolSculpting and liposuction, it is essential to take into account factors such as individual goals, body type, and overall health. While CoolSculpting may be more affordable, it may require multiple sessions to achieve desired results. Liposuction, although pricier, can provide more immediate and comprehensive fat reduction. Consulting with a qualified cosmetic surgeon or a provider specializing in CoolSculpting will help determine the most suitable option for your specific needs and budget.
